Koi Person of the Year

Rich Eitel, club Vice-President, is the NCKWS 2007 Koi Person of the year. Rich is highly deserving of this title. His dedication as a club officer and koi hobbyist is tremendous. In the last year Rich has taken on many club responsibilities such as Mud pond chairman (a year long task), club equipment manager, koi food order storage and distribution, kept and diligently maintained the club tosai in quarantine for one month at his home, volunteered his time to help with the club cull sale, and is always there to help me as club President. Rich also completed his KHA (Koi Health Advisor) certification in June at the AKCA seminar in Phoenix, AZ. This is more evidence as to his continuning hunger for knowledge in the koi hobby to further his husbandry capabilities and willingness to help others.

Please join me in congratulating Rich on receiving this year's title as NCKWS Koi Person of the Year!!

koi kichi,

Dan Phillips, NCKWS President, KHA
